The Crypto Prophecies partners with Polygon (previously Matic Network) to launch NFT price prediction game!
We’re super pumped to announce that The Crypto Prophecies decentralised peer-to-peer price prediction game is being built on Polygon (formerly known as Matic). One of our goals has always been to give our players the best possible blockchain gaming experience and ownership of NFTs, with incredibly low transaction costs. With the integration of Polygon we are one giant step closer to being able to achieve this goal.
What does this mean for players?
The advantages of the Polygon integration for our players is huge. It means that every on chain transaction will be either cost free or incredibly low cost. This includes, but not limited to the core aspects in the game such as summoning Crypto Prophets into the world, upgrading the rarity tier of a Crypto Prophets through burning and wagering tokens via the smart contract in the player versus player battles.
Fully compatible with OpenSea
Another great advantage for our players and any NFT collectors is that Polygon is compatible with OpenSea meaning it’s super easy for players to buy or sell their NFT game items on one of the worlds best known and biggest NFT marketplaces.
About Polygon (Formerly known as Matic Network)
Polygon is a multichain scaling solution for Ethereum. Polygon provides faster and cheaper transactions on Ethereum using Layer 2 sidechains, which are blockchains that run alongside the Ethereum main chain. Users are able to bridge their Ethereum tokens onto the network and use them within the Polygon sidechain. The MATIC token is used to pay the low transaction fees and participate in proof-of-stake consensus. The user can easily bridge their tokens back to the Ethereum main chain, if need be.
